Installing The Mod:
Open “(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo”. Create a folder named “addons” if one does not already exist. Place the downloaded slothweaponmod.vpk file into this folder. Launch CSGO and the main menu should appear as below (English language setting only, non-English languages will display a message stating that CSGO is out of date and needs to be updated.). The mod is now installed.
While these files are in use you will not be able to join servers that are not running the Weapon Balance Mod and will be returned to the main menu. This mod only works in community servers that are also running the mod or in offline matches with or without bots. There is no risk of being VAC banned by using this mod.
Disabling The Mod:
Once you run CSGO with the mod installed, “addonlist.txt” is created in the “csgo” folder. To disable the mod, open addonlist.txt and change the “1” after “slothweapon.vpk” to a “0”. The mod is now disabled and you can play on normal servers.
